CIA Design of Worry Reduction

A proclaiming that you've probably heard a whole lot in business, in sports, and human performance generally is governing the controllable. What does that basically mean? I wanted to adopt this concept of controlling the controllable, that is actually excellent advice in addition, and take it out in the realm of as being a cliché and in to the whole world of something we can actually do.
In our workshops we'll use something known as the CIA Model to aid students gain comprehension of this concept reducing stress in their lives. It's pretty easy to understand this model so here's the short form.

Accept

I'll also claim that when it comes to issues that you've zero influence over, I wouldn't spend a lot of time talking or complaining about them. It's just a drain on your energy. Are you catching yourself wanting to control things that you ought to just accept? Notice that, and I would change your mind on that.
When you realize the only thing you have total control over can be your decisions, take responsibility with the decision-making process. I'm not saying to blame yourself when things come out poorly. I am saying it will require responsibility for that decision that you just make. That's when you begin controlling the controllables and seeing the final results that you really need to see.
I don't play a whole lot of poker, but one thing that I be familiar with is the fact that winning at cards, specifically poker, carries a small amount about the cards which you are dealt, and it has a huge amount related to how we make decisions and play the cards that you just're dealt. Same thing costs your life. Life truly is ten percent what are the results to us and 90 percent how you react.
